Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you use FabbroPronto (fabbrodiretto.com), an online directory of local businesses serving Italia. We process personal data only in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national data protection law.
What Data We Process
- Server log data and analytics. When you access the site, our infrastructure processes technical data such as the requested URL, the date and time of access, the referring page, browser type and operating system. For measurement and security we generate a one-way pseudonymous hash from your IP address. We do not store your raw IP address for analytics; analytics is cookieless and based on this hash, which cannot be reversed to identify you.
- Contact inquiry data. If you submit an inquiry through a contact form, we process the data you provide, namely your name, e-mail address, telephone number (if given) and the content of your message, in order to handle and respond to your request.
- Functional session data. We use a technical session identifier, a CSRF security token, and stored preferences such as your chosen language and your cookie consent choice.
Legal Bases (Article 6 GDPR)
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): operating the directory securely, preventing abuse, and producing pseudonymous, cookieless reach measurement.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): any non-essential cookies or technologies, set only after you have agreed and withdrawable at any time.
- Contract / pre-contractual steps or consent (Art. 6(1)(b) / (a)): processing of contact inquiries you choose to send us.
Third Parties and Processors
We rely on the following carefully selected service providers, bound by data processing agreements where required:
- Cloudflare — DNS, content delivery and protection against attacks; processes connection data to deliver and secure the site.
- Our hosting provider — stores and serves the website and associated data within our infrastructure.
- Cap captcha (self-hosted) — a self-hosted, privacy-friendly captcha used to protect forms from automated abuse; no data is sent to an external captcha vendor.
- OpenStreetMap — when a map is displayed, map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap servers. In doing so your IP address is transmitted to OpenStreetMap so that the tiles can be delivered to your browser. Please consult the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy information for details.
We serve all typography from self-hosted fonts. We do not use Google Fonts, and no font request is made to Google.
Retention
Pseudonymous analytics data is retained only for as long as needed for statistical evaluation and then deleted or aggregated. Contact inquiries are retained for as long as necessary to handle your request and to comply with any statutory retention obligations, after which they are deleted. Session and security data expire at the end of your session; consent and preference records persist until you reset them.
International Transfers
Where the operator or a processor is located outside the European Economic Area, transfers take place only on the basis of appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR, in particular the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. A copy of the relevant safeguards is available on request.
